Kindergarten Technology is a web site made for an inservice presentation for teachers to get ideas to incorporate technology in their classrooms. The technology used is what is presently being used in my kindergarten class. The students enjoy using different formats of technology because it is fun and exciting for them to learn like the big kids. This exposure builds the students confidence in their ability to use and learn with technology. The building blocks for their future.

Nearpod is a program that teachers can use to prepare lessons to help and encourage learning in the subjects they are teaching. This nearpod gives the children two videos on the letters B & D, then a fun practice page to write the letters. The end pages review the alphabet letters capital, lowercase, and beginning sounds of the letters. Teachers can use it as an assessment or a fun review of the alphabet.
This video was done with an app call OSanp! on a cardboard box stand and an ipad. It is a stop motion app to make stop motion movies. We found out it takes many tries to get the final product. It was pretty good for our first try. Twelve picture per second makes for a lot of pictures for a short production.
We tried an app called Stop Motion I liked because it showed your pictures as you go, but it kept crashing and loosing our work. I could have been teacher error too, waiting so long between some shots. |
